This still-life is part of my sister's room decoration that I thought fits nicely together. I liked photographing this still-life from different angles because each photo looks differently set up just by looking at it from a different perspective. I chose this set of filters for these photos because they complemented the aesthetic of the still-life really well and displayed each image through a different medium.
These keys and lock belong to an old diary of mine from elementary school. I liked the pop of color that the keychain added to the photo among the grey keys and lock and neutral background. I chose this set of filters for these photographs because I thought that they each highlighted the pop of color in a different way and showed a nice contrast.
I use these hair ties, bun donut, and bobby pins every week to do my hair and I liked the colors that they added to the photos. The placement of each object was meticulously thought out so that they all connected with each other. I chose this set of filters for these photographs because each shows the colors of the hair ties differently with some blurring and others having a shiny, reflective surface.
The mint oreo is one of my favorite snacks and has a nice light green color for the filling. I tried to create different shapes with each image to show the variety of ways in which an oreo can be consumed. I chose this set of filters for these photos because they all have a comic book style that accentuates the broken pieces of the oreo.
These items are part of my calligraphy letter set, which is important to me because calligraphy is a beautiful art form that I like to practice in my free time. For these images, I contrasted light and dark objects and varied brighter or darker lighting. I chose this set of filters for these photos because worked well with the theme of writing in the still-life.
